The vineyards for Villa Barcaroli sit within the countryside just on the cusp of the village where the original Villa, a XVII century mansion, holds the history of the region with bottles dating back to 1954. In recent years, the vineyards have become certified biodynamic and the cellar work has been adjusted to to a gentle approach, allowing the local terroir to shine.
Made from the local Montepulciano variety, this wine is a benchmark to this dry and rustic region. It is a savoury and earthy wine that is balanced by joyful plum fruits and lip-licking tannin.
