'Piazzera' Derthona 2023

Timorasso is Piedmont's great rediscovered white - a variety that nearly vanished before growers like Boveri brought it back from the brink. The Piazzera comes from calcareous clay soils with excellent sun exposure, giving a wine that's saline and structured with citrus, orchard fruit and a distinct stony minerality. Often likened to a serious Chablis, it's a white built for the long haul, not just an easy Sunday pour.
