Syd Bradford has a thing for unusual varieties done brilliantly, and The Aloof Alpaca proves it. Arneis — a wonderfully nutty, aromatic white from Piedmont — feels right at home here, delivering white peach, almond, lemon blossom and a dry, textured finish with a slightly wild edge. Quirky, charming and very hard to find. Sound familiar?
