Selvapiana is a historic family-run estate in the Chianti Rufina DOCG, a cool, elevated subzone in Tuscany northeast of Florence, producing elegant, terroir-reflective Sangiovese-based wines since the 19th century. The 2023 Chianti Rufina shows a bright ruby-red colour with aromas of red cherry, cranberry and ripe berries edged by gentle spice and floral notes. On the palate it’s medium-bodied and lively, with juicy fruit, refreshing acidity and fine, balanced tannins that deliver a poised, classic Tuscan profile
