Produced by Weingut Robert Weil, one of the Rheingau's most storied estates, founded in 1875 in the village of Kiedrich and now guided by fourth-generation winemaker Wilhelm Weil. The fruit is drawn from cooler, higher-elevation parcels adjacent to the estate's classified single-vineyard sites, supplemented by pre-selections from top crus, harvested across multiple selective passes. Fermented predominantly in stainless steel, this dry Kabinett is pale and brilliant in the glass, with a fine, flinty and elegant nose. On the palate expect green apple peel, citrus and a saline, mineral edge, framed by racy acidity and a firm, textural structure. Juicy yet finely bitter on the finish, it's a polished, restrained expression of Rheingau Riesling. Light-bodied but layered, and a benchmark example of the estate's meticulous, quality-driven winemaking style across its four generations.
