From Tasmanian winemaker Rivulet Wines Riesling 2025, a small-batch Riesling born out of a passion for the variety and a desire to preserve old-vine plantings, this 2025 vintage comes from established vines at Rowella in the Tamar Valley and is hand-picked, gently whole-bunch pressed and partially wild-fermented before extended time on lees. Keira O’Brien’s minimalist approach draws on Germanic and Austrian influences, yielding a wine with opulent aromatics, a touch of residual sugar for richness, and a lively interplay of bright acidity and mineral drive that reflects the cool Tasmanian climate and site-specific character.
