Rudolf & Rita Trossen are pioneers for biodynamic farming and natural winemaking in Germany's Mosel region. Though they make quite a slew of wines, in a range of styles, this one is a decent introduction to the more traditional side of their vision. RIP the sweet and inaccessible Rieslings of the old days and take a moment to appreciate the fine balance of acidity and sweetness in this drink. The Trossen's have produced a Riesling that balances its 20g/L sugar content (<4g/L being dry) with its extremely high acidity that the Mosel in Germany is so well known for. Lip smacking to the enth degree. Perfect with some Korean BBQ or a stunning aperitif for a seafood lunch.
