'Schoff Hill' Cabernet Sauvignon 2023

From the heart of the Barossa Valley, Paulmara Estate, a family owned winery run by the Georgiadis family, has been crafting Mediterranean varietals with vineyard first precision for decades. Their 2025 Lunch Red Sangiovese is an approachable yet terroir driven expression of this vibrant Italian grape. Sourced from a 2 hectare single vineyard block in Marananga, planted in 1995 on sand over yellow clay soils dotted with ironstone, the grapes are hand harvested at first light to preserve freshness and lifted aromatics. The wine is 100% Sangiovese and opens with bright cherry and red plum, complemented by hints of dried herbs and subtle tomato vine savoury character. The Lunch Red label reflects its easy drinking style - medium bodied, chilled, fresh and vibrant - ready to drink straight out of the fridge or esky!
