Having grown up in Provence, it wasn’t always brothers Clément and Antoine’s vision to take on the family estate in Champagne. But with a passion for nature, organic farming, and independent enterprise, Clément decided to head north. Younger brother Antoine joined later, fuelled by his brother’s entrepreneurial spirit and enticed by the notion of working side by side. Today they farm 44 plots in 9.5 hectares in 5 Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs as fifth generation vignerons. The vines are treated as sustainably as possible. In the winery, the wines are left on lees for 9 months without fining or filtration. A variety of containers – cement, oak, stoneware – are used, and wines are left in cellar for a minimum of four years prior to release (and up to 8 years for their prestige cuvées).
