Ochota Barrels is one of Australia's most beloved cult producers, the creative vision of the late Taras Ochota and now lovingly continued by his family from their base in the Basket Range of the Adelaide Hills. Named after the iconic post-rock band, 'Slint' is a Chardonnay that defies expectation and rewards the curious. Pale and luminous in the glass, it offers a wonderfully unconventional nose of nashi pear, fresh ginger, chamomile, and subtle oxidative complexity. The palate is textural and alive, with a gentle wild ferment character, lively acidity, and a finish that is long, thought-provoking, and utterly distinctive. Chardonnay for the open minded.
