'TED' Pinot Noir 2022

Coming from a pioneering estate in Central Otago, New Zealand, Mount Edward’s “TED” Pinot Noir 2022 is part of the organically-managed range overseen by Duncan Forsyth that champions minimal-intervention winemaking on schist-rich soils. Sourced from estate vineyards around Bannockburn, Gibbston and Pisa and fermented with wild yeasts before ageing in French oak, this wine leans into bright, fruit-centred expression with aromas of cherry, raspberry and spice alongside savoury herbal notes, and on the palate it’s medium-bodied with fine tannins, lively acidity and a supple, textured core that carries through to a mineral-tinged, elegant finish typical of cool-climate Pinot Noir from the region.
