Massolino is regarded as one of Barolo’s great producers. The family-owned estate can trace its roots back to 1896 and is currently operating under the fourth generation. Today, they farm 16ha of prime Serralunga d’Alba real estate, including their most treasured vineyard – Vigna Rionda – with a small parcel in Castiglione Falletto. Most recently they’ve added a Barbaresco to their line-up as well. The wines see a combination of modern and traditional techniques including temperature control and ageing in large Slovenian barrels. They're known for their muscular backbone and purity of fruit.
