Irrewarra is a separate enterprise with different vineyards, but the same magic touch, as the By Farr label. Nick Farr is the winemaker behind Irrewarra, Farr Rising, and co-winemaker with his father for the highly acclaimed By Farr wines. The Irrewarra vineyard, meaning “long spear throw”, is located approximately 150km southwest of Melbourne. The Farr family established a long-term contract with the Calvert Family, who planted Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in 2001. They tend the mature vines as if they were their own and produce stunning lime-driven Chardonnay and perfumed Pinot Noir.
