Gustave Lorentz is a 6th generation family-owned establishment in Bergheim, Alsace. The first mentions of the family date back to the 30-years War in Ribeauvillé, but it wasn’t until 1836 when the family founded their estate in Bergheim. Today, they own 33ha of vines, including 12.8ha in the Altenberg de Bergheim Grand Cru and 1.75ha of the Kanzlerbeg Grand Cru. They’ve been practicing organic viticulture since the early 2000s and received official certification in 2012.
