Gullyview Eastate 'Light Red' 2025

Gullyview Estate, located in the southern Clare Valley of South Australia, is driven by winemaker Jono Koerner and partner Megan Jenkin. Emerging from the long-established Koerner family vineyards, their mission centres on making vibrant, approachable wines rooted in the region’s red-clay over limestone soils and crisp acid-driven site character.

This 2025 blend (predominantly Grenache with Vermentino) pours a bright cherry hue and delivers a delightful floral-spice nose: think raspberries, cherries, hints of mixed nuts and savoury complexity. On the palate it’s juicy and refreshing, red-berry fruit meets stone-fruit edge via the Vermentino, with a crisp acid line and a touch of salinity/mineral lift. Light in alcohol, textured yet easy-drinking, it works chilled and is perfect for immediate enjoyment.
