Domaine Rougeot has maintained a quiet profile in the Burgundy market, until now. Marc Rougeot and his sons continue the family legacy as fifth generation vignerons in Meursault. They own 13ha in the Côte de Beaune, including the villages of Meursault, Monthélie, St. Romain, Pommard, and Volnay. Although perhaps best known for their whites (as their homebase is in one of Chardonnays most respected villages), their reds have continued to develop. Their wines (both red and white) see 12 to 20 months in French Burgundy barrels, with the reds produced using 100% whole bunch.
