ACID! Slaking, like a big first sip of liquid for the day. All Pinot Noir, farmed organically, from the Southernmost point of the Jura. Cheery cherries and red raspberries, flecks of flint and tobacco, lined with leaf litter. Crisp and vibrant, a refreshing edge to Pinot and for those who enjoy the grape when it’s grown in the coolest of climates. The Jura is certainly recognised for the slew of cult growers and makers that call the region home. Overnoy is certainly one of them. Pierre Overnoy is one of the cultural icons of the area and helped grow the reputation of one of France's smallest, but prolific wine regions. Guillaume, Pierre’s great-nephew, runs the estate now. He’s held the reputation strongly and surely, making wines that rival the neighbouring estates of Labet and Ganevat.
