'Bourgogne Côte d'Or' Pinot Noir 2023

Crafted by the quietly outstanding Burgundian estate of Domaine Fabien Coche in Meursault, this 2023 Bourgogne Côte d’Or Chardonnay punches well above its appellation. The wine is whole‑bunch pressed, matured for 15 months on lees in large barrels (5 % new) and bottled unfined and unfiltered. On the nose: flint and gun‑flint minerality, white‑peach blossom, fresh citrus‑zest and a whisper of hazelnut pastry. The palate is fresh yet textured with orchard fruit (pear, yellow apple), fine chalky grip, and a long saline finish. A “mini‑Meursault” in all but name—elegant now, with 4‑6 years potential cellar window.
