All about this wine
It’s hard to know where to begin with Azienda Agricola Dal Forno Romano. Established relatively recently in the 1980s, the 8ha estate has skyrocketed to stardom. Nestled in the heart of Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, Dal Forno harvests at incredibly small yields resulting in shockingly concentrated berries. The aromatics for which his wines are so well known are enhanced by the sweet spices of new oak (mostly American). The Valpolicella drinks more like an Amarone, and the Amarone is yet another step up in power and punch. Having been mentored by Giussepe Quintarelli, Romano Dal Forno is now equally well known and revered.
