From the Bordeaux region of southwestern France, Château La Chèze is a historic estate on the slopes above the Garonne at Capian that works sustainably with vines planted to both reds and whites and focuses on wines that bring out the region’s terroir. Its 2023 Sauvignon Blanc (often blended in part with Sauvignon Gris in this bottling) is vinified to preserve primary aromatics, offering lively, fruit-driven aromatics of citrus, green apple and lime with a touch of grapefruit and an underlying hint of minerality, while the palate is fresh and vibrant with bright acidity and a clean, rounded finish that captures the classic Bordeaux Blanc profile of crisp fruit and enjoyable drinkability.
