Charlotte Dalton ‘Grace’ Chardonnay 2023 is crafted by Adelaide Hills winemaker Charlotte Hardy, whose small-batch wines reflect a gentle, minimal-intervention philosophy shaped by vineyard expression. Sourced from the Deanery Vineyard in Balhannah in the cool, elevated Adelaide Hills, the fruit is hand harvested and fermented with wild yeast in French oak, with time on lees and full malolactic fermentation adding texture and complexity. The wine opens with aromas of white peach, nectarine, melon and jasmine, layered with toasted hazelnut and subtle cashew notes from oak. The palate is fresh yet creamy, balancing stone fruit richness with lively citrus acidity, delicate minerality and a refined, chalky finish.
