Cantina Delsignore 'La Crotta Spanna' Coste della Sesia 2022 delivers a classic northern-Piedmont expression of Nebbiolo (locally “Spanna”). The wine shows brilliant ruby-red hues, evolving toward brick with age. On the nose and palate you’ll find bright red berries—think cherries, raspberries and red plum—tied together by floral and lightly spicy notes with mineral and iron-tinged undertones reflective of its volcanic granitic soils. Structurally it’s dry, mid-bodied and approachable, with gentle but persistent tannins, elegant acidity and a fresh, savoury finish.

The wine comes from Cantina Delsignore, a small Piedmontese estate run by Stefano Dorelli. Working old vines planted on steep, mineral-rich slopes, the estate has helped revive the regional tradition of fine Spanna wines — bringing finesse and clarity rather than heavy extraction
