Gabrielle Buondonno and his wife bought their idyllic farm in the heart of Chianti in 1988 to live the ultimate dream - renovate the old property and start a life of farming and modest work. The farm itself dates back to the Middle Ages when it was once owned by artist Michelangelo - so the scene was long set for creativity and quality work.
As a result of 30 years of meticulous nurturing, the small ecosystem has been dedicated to viticulture and olive trees, balancing the natural forest and lush green environment.
As one would expect from this kind of devotion, the wines are as pure as they are Chianti encapsulated. A classic style of Sangiovese that generously provides the perfect arrangement of deep fruit and savoury nuance.
