Bruno Colin comes from a pedigreed winemaking family in Chassagne-Montrachet (including the likes of Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey, his second cousin). When Bruno and his brother Phillippe inherited their father’s vineyards in 2003, they each opened their own domaine under their respective names.

Today Bruno owns 8.75ha across 22 appellations in the Côte de Beaune. The heart of his domaine lies in the 8 white premier crus in Chassagne-Montrachet. He treats each of his wines essentially the same in order to reflect vintage conditions and site-specific terroir. Both reds and whites alike see 20-25% new oak in 350-litre barrels over a 12-month long ageing process. Recently, Bruno has included 10% of the stems with his premier crus reds.
