Bruna is a family-owned operation northern Italy. They own 8 hectares of vines and olive trees in the Ligurian landscape. At the heart of their estate is the Pigato grape, a variant of Vermentino, although they also produce Granaccia, Rossese, and Syrah. Their Pigato-based wines are virtually treated the same – fermented in stainless steel followed by ageing in large barrels on fine lees. The ‘U Baccan’ cuvée is made using the oldest Pigato vines in the farm (50+ years old) where the ‘Le Russeghine’ is a single vineyard known for its depth and minerality.
