Bouchard Père & Fils, is one of the oldest wine estates in Burgundy, maintaining tradition for nearly three centuries across nine generations of winemakers - an almost unbelievable claim to make. 

With a sprawl of vineyard holdings over the Cote d’Or, they are producing small quantities of an extensive terroir of Burgundy that allows for a deep exploration into old vines, and individual site expression in each cuvée. 

The name ‘Vigne de L’emfant Jesus’ refers to an old story where the birth of the future king of France, Louis XIV was predicted despite his mother being unable to bear children. In 1791 when national property was being sold, Bouchard Pere et Fils put in a bid for the vineyard, situated in the heart of the 32-hectare Beaune-Greves appellation, and still hold the monopoly of land to this day. This a brightly spiced and aromatically ethereal Pinot Noir yet is silky and generous on the palate.
