Hermanos Peciña, founded in Rioja Alta, Spain, crafts estate-driven wines with traditional Rioja techniques. Their 2018 “Señorío de P. Peciña” Crianza is primarily Tempranillo, sourced from 40-year-old vines on calcareous-clay soils. Fermented with wild yeasts and aged 24 months in used American oak, it develops a rich, layered character. Aromas of ripe red cherry, strawberry, vanilla and toasted oak lead to a full-bodied palate of red and black fruits, clove, leather, and subtle Rioja spice. Firm yet polished tannins support a long, elegant finish, making it an ideal companion to roasted meats, mature cheeses, and classic Spanish dishes.
