75% whole berry and 25% whole bunch ferment, mostly free-run juice with a small component of gentle pressings. Aged nine months in neutral French puncheons and foudres. Unfined and unfiltered. Produced by family-owned Aphelion Wine Co. in McLaren Vale, this vibrant Grenache comes from old vines in Blewitt Springs, delivering bright raspberry, cinnamon spice, and red liquorice aromas. The palate is lively with wild strawberry, Satsuma plum, and fine sandalwood notes, framed by elegant tannins and excellent balance. Crafted with minimal intervention, this wine beautifully showcases the purity and complexity of McLaren Vale’s terroir in a fresh, modern style.
