THE BAROSSAN AND THE BEAUTIFUL 

The Alkina estate is named after an indigenous girl’s name meaning ‘moon’ or ‘moonlight’ - a sentiment that is evident in the considered wines made by Alejandro Bulgheroni in the Barossa Valley. The wine comes from a parcel of old-vine Grenache, kept as a separate wine from the rest of the vineyard to show its dark fruit, wild intensity and sensuous generosity.
