A short drive from the culturally vibrant city of Bologna sits the agricultural and creative oasis of Danila Mongardi & Gabriele Monti. Their label Al di la del Fiume, meaning beyond the river, relies on their biodynamic farm, growing native varieties that demand attention for their purity. 

The ‘Beyond’ Wines, both the Bianco and Rosso, are normally reserved for those who visit their winery but now act as a rare opportunity to glance into their practice from afar. This is a selection of the best amphora from their oldest vines of Albana, macerated for three months with skins and only bottled in select years. A limited and stunning release.
