Alain Graillot was a pioneer in the Northern Rhone, known as the GodFather of Crozes Hermitage and one of the most respected producers in the region and of his time. Since his passing, the domain has been run in the trusted hands of his son, Maxime. Their vineyards are gnarly and aging but with meticulous care and produce wines of hallmark quality for the region.
Crozes Hermitage Blanc, made from a marriage of 80% Marsanne and 20% Roussanne, is a bright and crunchy blend that has an intense depth of flavour - to be expected from this tiny plot of alluvial soil in the Pont-de-l’Isere.
