Poderi del Paradiso Vernaccia di San Gimignano 2024 offers a bright, refreshing snapshot of Tuscan white — lively, mineral-etched and perfectly suited to Mediterranean fare. Pale straw-yellow in the glass, it opens with a floral and citrus-tinged bouquet: think lemon zest, white-flowers and a hint of honeyed stone-fruit. On the palate it’s dry, crisply acidic and medium-bodied, with flavours of green apple, pear, subtle apricot or white peach, all layered over a saline-mineral backbone.  The finish carries that characteristic slightly bitter almond or saline note typical of Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG wines — clean, refreshing and restrained. 

The wine comes from Poderi del Paradiso, a family estate near the medieval hills of San Gimignano in Tuscany. Their Vernaccia is 100% old-local-variety, gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel, with extended lees contact that gives the wine added texture and a subtle roundness without masking its purity.
