Crafted by winemaker Steve Crawford under the Frederick Stevenson label in the Adelaide Hills’ 440 m‑elevation Piccadilly Valley site, this 2024 Chardonnay thrives on cool‑climate freshness and textural finesse. Whole‑bunch pressed, cooled natural fermentation (⅔ barrel, ⅓ stainless) and 10 months aging on fine lees (15 % new oak) impart a layered profile. On the nose: white‑peach, lemon‑zest and a hint of cinnamon apple. The palate is medium‑bodied with crisp acidity, creamy texture, saline‑minerality and a subtly rich finish.
