The late Stéphane Moreau was one of Chablis’s most gifted modern visionaries, blending inspiration from icons like Vincent Dauvissat and Didier Dagueneau with a deep respect for old, pre-industrial methods. Following his untimely passing in 2016, his wife Virginie has continued the domaine’s legacy with quiet determination and extraordinary skill. Under her guidance, the estate has earned two stars in La Revue du Vin de France, placing it among Chablis’s elite.
Sourced from 20–30-year-old vines in Préhy and Courgis, this wine spent 20 months on lees for texture and depth. Aromas of grapefruit zest, acacia and flint open to a tangy, saline palate with chalky precision. Medium-bodied yet mouthcoating, it’s a benchmark village Chablis that reflects both the domaine’s meticulous farming and Virginie’s patient, unhurried touch.
