Founded in 1850, Domaine Laroche is a historic Chablis estate based in the medieval Obédiencerie, renowned for its sustainably farmed Premier and Grand Cru vineyards. Rooted in Burgundy’s cool northern climate, their vines grow on Kimmeridgian limestone rich in fossilised seashells, giving Chablis its hallmark flinty minerality. The 2023 “Saint Martin” is a blend of the estate’s finest village-level plots, fermented mainly in stainless steel with partial oak ageing and lees contact for texture. Fresh aromas of green apple, citrus and white flowers lead to a crisp, mineral-driven palate of pear and stone fruit, finishing long, pure and saline—classic, elegant Chablis.
