Azienda Agricola Boggero is a small, traditional family estate situated in the Roero hills of Piedmont, across the Tanaro River from the more famous Langhe, where the sandy soils are perfectly suited to the delicate Arneis grape. Once nearly extinct, Arneis has been lovingly revived by producers like Boggero, who coax from it a wine of quiet elegance and charm. The 2024 is pale straw in colour with a fragrant, floral nose of white blossom, pear, and fresh almond. The palate is dry and softly textured with gentle acidity and a clean, subtly bitter finish that is quintessentially Piemontese. A refined and authentic expression of this rare and rewarding variety.
