This 2023 comes from the high-altitude Naimanya vineyard in Flaxman’s Valley, Eden Valley, South Australia, where sandy loam, gravel and quartz soils and slow ripening give the wine lifted spice and floral character. The dry, medium-bodied Syrah shows dark red fruits like plum and redcurrant with spice, dried herbs and brambly earthiness, supported by gentle tannins and bright acidity for elegant length and savoury depth.
