'Champeaux' Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru 2019

Marchand & Burch is a collaboration between French winemaker Pascal Marchand (originally of Quebec, Canada) and Jeff Burch of Western Australia. The two met while Pascal was working for Domaine Comte Armand and Jeff was touring. A shared passion connected them instantaneously. They’re doing an exchange of sorts, with the idea of bringing great French wines to Australia and vice versa.

The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin Champeaux 1er Cru is 100% destemmed with 18 months in 30% new oak. Savoury undertones are framed by blueberry, chocolate and spice.
