Glaetzer‑Dixon Family Winemakers is a boutique Tasmanian producer led by Nick Glaetzer, a fifth‑generation vigneron with roots in the Barossa Valley who crafts cool‑climate Shiraz that balances structure and finesse from sites in the Coal River and Upper Derwent Valleys. The 2022 Mon Père shows elegant red berry, cassis and white pepper aromas, with layers of raspberry spice, smoked lardon and black olive tapenade. On the palate it’s rich yet vibrant, featuring red and black fruit compote, integrated spice and supple tannins that expand through a resonant finish
