Crafted by Giant Steps in the Yarra Valley from the steep, north‑facing Sexton Vineyard at Gruyere, this 2024 single‑site Pinot Noir thrives on thin gravelly loam over rocky clay soils. Aromas of ripe dark raspberries, black‑currant pastilles, kirsch and a hint of rose bush leap from the glass. On the palate the wine is juicy and fleshy, layered with dark cherry, plum and sweet spice, framed by ripe plush tannins and a confident structure. Should drink well now but has the cellaring potential to evolve gracefully over the next 6–8 years
