By Burgundy standards, Arnaud Baillot is considered a newcomer having made his first vintage in 2014. Located in Levernois, a small village on the South-East of some of Beaune’s best vineyards, Arnaud is producing wines of incredible tension and precision. His style is energetic and respectful to vineyard expression whilst offering incredible value from an up-and-coming star.
Pinot Noir grown on limestone soils in the Cote de Nuits tends to lean to the most elegant and profound styles. Chambolle-Musigny is known for this beautiful expression - ripe red fruits and purity of flavour balanced by a mineral lick and plush texture. Made without the use of stems, this is a Pinot Noir of lasting fruit concentration.
