Eclipse Pinot Noir 2019 2020

Luna Estate is the combination of 2 labels who were purchased by wine enthusiast Charlie Zheng. They feature two single vineyards – Blue Rock & Eclipse, both with underlying layers of silt and rock from an ancient riverbed. The two vineyards have the benefit of old vine Pinot Noir, which is perfect considering Martinborough’s success with the variety. The team believe Pinot Noir is the superstar of the region, so much so that they’ve pulled out many of their money-making Sauvignon Blanc vines to replace with more Pinot in the future. The Eclipse vineyard, where you’ll find their cellar door and restaurant, is organically farmed, while Blue Rock vineyard hosts the working winery and is in conversion.
