In a quaint little spot in Victoria’s south west is a place called Tarrington and within it lies Hochkirch wines. John & Jennifer Nagorcka’s family vineyard was established in 1990 and overtime has had success with cool climate varieties such as Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Today they are certified Biodynamic and some of the most consistent producers of low density fruit in the foothills of the Grampians.
Their production is on the micro side and Hochkirch embodies what it means to be boutique wine producers.
These wines are usually found on Australia’s most coveted fine wine lists and rarely do we see them still available for purchase.
