History in a glass. Brilliant gold in glass, fine bubbles, a seductive foam. Expressive nose full of peach, jasmine and acacia, subtle vanilla. There's a reason it's one of the world's most widely enjoyed Champagnes.

One of Champagne's great houses, Taittinger's history can be traced back to 1734, when it was originally known as Forest-Fourneaux, founded by Jacques Fourneaux. He, like many others starting in wine this way, worked closely with local Benedictine monks to learn how to produce wine. As such, the house is the third oldest Champagne producer in history. It's still kept very much by the family, now headed by Vitalie and Clovis Taittinger.
