By Burgundy standards, Arnaud Baillot is considered a newcomer having made his first vintage in 2014. Located in Levernois, a small village on the South-East of some of Beaune’s best vineyards, Arnaud is producing wines of incredible tension and precision. His style is energetic and respectful to vineyard expression whilst offering incredible value from an up-and-coming star.
The vineyards of Meursault are the most extensive in the Cote de Beaune and is known for its quality and generous wines. Grown on limestone and gravel soils, this Chardonnay finds balance in its tension and richness - a difficult feat in a vintage as warm as 2020. The wine is built on lemons and peaches, highlighted with mineral aromas and a touch of flint. Nothing short of complex!
