Yeringberg’s 2022 Marsanne-Roussanne is a captivating white blend from one of the Yarra Valley’s most historic family-owned estates. Established in 1863 by Swiss-born Baron Frédéric Guillaume de Pury, the winery is now lovingly stewarded by his descendants, Sandra and David de Pury. Nestled on gentle slopes of ancient alluvial soils, where cool morning fog gives way to warm afternoons, this 60/40 Marsanne-Roussanne blend is hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts in seasoned oak barrels. The wine reveals vibrant aromas of white peach, pear, and beeswax, leading to a rich, textured palate with notes of honeyed almond, delicate blossoms, and a bright mineral finish. Lightly sulfured and unfiltered, this limited-release vintage offers both immediate charm and the potential to age gracefully over the coming years—an authentic expression of Yarra Valley terroir and tradition.
