Brioche, sweet pear, walnut and lemon. Bright, ready to drink, although primo for the cellar too. A classic Champagne trio of Pinot noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, Brut Premier comprises wine matured in oak tuns, ageing for three years and left for 6 months rest after dégorgement. A classic Champagne that finds balance between youthfulness and prowess, harmony and structure, elegance and liveliness. After Champagne was subject to upheaval all throughout the 1900s, particularly the First World War that destroyed more than half of the Louis Roederer estate, Léon Olry Roederer set about restoring the vineyards he loved. He decided to buy grapes to ensure the continuity of the House, whilst also supporting local growers in the region, and in this time created a multi-vintage wine that became the House Style, Brut Premier.
