Family-owned since 1789, Domaine Garnier & Fils is led by brothers Jérôme and Xavier Garnier in Ligny-le-Châtel, the northernmost commune of the Chablis appellation. With 23 hectares of organically farmed vineyards rooted in chalky clay and sandy soils, the domaine crafts wines that showcase purity, precision, and the distinctive minerality of the region. The 2023 Chablis offers aromas of green apple, pear, and citrus, with a crisp palate of lemon, lime, and a saline finish evoking oyster shells. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged on lees in stainless steel for 11 months, it’s a vibrant expression of northern Chablis terroir.
