'Riquewihr' Gewürztraminer

Best known as Burgundy producers, Domaine Trapet is now 7^th generation based in Gevrey-Chambertin. But when a Burgundian grower meets and falls in love with an Alsatian grower, as Jean-Louis Trapet did, a new venture is born. His now wife, Andrée Trapet inherited her parents’ vineyards in Riquewihr in 2002. Since then, this power couple have converted their vineyards to biodynamics and produce from some of Alsace’s top Grand Cru sites. A combination of stainless steel, neutral French barrels, and concrete eggs are used for vinification, but ultimately they aim for a dry and fresh style of wine.
