“Pure” and “perfumed” are the words used to describe Domaine de Marcoux wines. Often compared to Burgundy, these wines are all about elegance in a region better known for high alcohol and a bit of funk. Miniscule production, natural fermentation in concrete vats, and used oak foudres or barrels (nothing new) contribute to the clarity of these wines. But the quality of the vineyards cannot be overlooked. Domaine de Marcoux is certified organic and has been practicing biodynamic principles for the past 30 years.
